HOW DOES IT WORK?

Stage 1

Getting to know you
You will discuss with your personal trainer on the phone or face to face, what you want to achieve, such as how much weight you want to lose and other health goals. You will then clearly discuss what is needed for you to reach your goals in your time frame

Stage 2

Exercise
You will exercise at least 3 times per week, with your personal trainer and sometimes without. You will be taught what exercises to use and how to use them safely and effectively. You will do a combination or weight training, cardio, functional as well as none gym based exercise.

Stage 3

Diet
Based on foods you like and how often you eat, a diet plan will be developed for you. We are aware that each day has its own unexpected variations and challenges. You will be taught how to overcome and adapt to these challenges. All the while you will have ready access to your personal trainer to overcome any diet issue you encounter

Stage 4

Monitoring/Tracking
You will be weighed or measured regularly to track progress. During your first 6 - 8 weeks you will also be asked to keep a food diary to help track calorie and nutrient intake as well as for the purpose assisting you in your understanding of diet. As your weight loss goal is measurable this is an important part of realising your progress.

Stage 5

Accountability
We are aware that you have a life outside the gym, however, you are making a commitment to your health and to your goals. We will hold you to that commitment. If you have to miss workouts, eat poorly or not hit your target, you are expected to have a good reason. This is a serious plan for people who want to better themeselves and their situation.

Stage 6

Support
We are not army officers, and you are not children. We are not here to shout at you. We will support you with both the technical side of diet but exercise and also mentally and emotionally. We are aware this is something that is difficult and we do everything in our power to allow for success.
